A food business I own, six weeks on AI. 21x the traffic.

This food publishing site covers food, recipes and entertaining. The week of August 31, AI took over its content, social media and ad buying. Here’s the growth, week by week.

The challenge
01

The business challenge.

These were small sites with good subject matter and not enough hours behind them. Each one published occasionally, posted to Facebook when someone had time, and had no real ad program. That’s the position a lot of owners recognise: a business with potential, and nobody with the time to work on it every day. The question I wanted answered was simple. If I drop the full system in at once, how fast does it show up in the numbers?

Recipes and party food are the kind of content people search for, save and come back to, which rewards a site that publishes often and posts every day.

The workflows
AI

The AI workflows I put in.

  • Content. AI researches, writes, illustrates and checks new pages, and publishes them on a schedule.
  • Social. AI writes, designs and schedules Facebook posts every day and makes more of whatever earns reach. No ad spend behind the organic posts.
  • Ad buying. New pages get ads built and launched automatically, judged every morning inside set caps.
  • Measurement. Every site reports into the same morning numbers as my larger businesses, from day one.

How the system measures and improves.

Because the starting week is the baseline, every chart on these pages answers one question: how many times bigger is this week than the week before AI took over? The same morning loop runs here as everywhere else in my portfolio. AI does the work, the system measures it against the source, the winners get more turns and the losers are retired.

The difference on a new site is that the system arrives with a memory. The rules learned on my larger businesses came with it, so it didn’t have to start from nothing.

For owners
Learn

What other owners can learn.

  • Speed comes from turning everything on together. Content, social and ads went live in the same week and fed each other.
  • A proven rulebook transfers. The rules from my established businesses gave these sites a head start.
  • Six weeks is enough to know. You don’t need a year to find out whether this works in your business. You need a clean baseline and honest measurement.
